Lizz is passionate about creating a space that values authenticity, trust and support. She prides herself on individualizing her approach with each person she supports and understands the importance of a human-first approach. She grounds her practice with the principle of health at every size and utilizes a non-diet approach to health and wellness.
Lizz focuses on supporting clients in establishing more neutral-to-positive relationships with food, movement and their body. Her counseling style is reflective and utilizes concepts of future identity, neuroplasticity, and gratitude. Her nutrition-specific interests are in eating disorder recovery, ARFID, neurodivergent care, intuitive eating, and mealtime and cooking support. In sessions with Lizz, you can expect to have fun discussions on what is exciting you most in your life right now, share signs of progress, identify the challenges you’re experiencing in your week, and collaborate on how to move forward.
Lizz graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick with a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, went on to complete her dietetic internship with Aramark in New York, and has extensive experience in leadership and management in food service and dietitian onboarding.
Lizz’s most formative experience was her time in the inpatient and outpatient Eating Disorder programs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. This is where she formed her own nutrition philosophy and a focus on helping individuals create the foundation of their future self, which sets the tone for how she approaches nutrition sessions with clients today.
Those close to Lizz would describe her as creative, genuine, and compassionate. Outside of work, you’ll find her hiking, painting, playing softball, cuddling her two cats, or getting creative in the kitchen!
