Julia is a registered dietitian dedicated to helping individuals build a healthier relationship with food, develop sustainable habits, and feel confident making food choices that align with their personal health goals and lifestyle. She is passionate about meeting people where they are and supporting meaningful change without restriction, guilt, or rigid food rules. She takes an anti-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition counseling and believes that health can be supported through realistic, individualized strategies.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and went on to earn her Master of Medical Nutrition degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. During her training, she completed more than 1,500 hours of supervised practice experience across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including transplant, diabetes, oncology, trauma and critical care, and pediatrics. She also has experience working in private practice supporting clients with a wide range of nutrition concerns and chronic health conditions.
Julia’s counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. She recognizes that every person brings their own experiences, preferences, challenges, and goals to the table, and she strives to create an environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Together, she works with clients to build sustainable habits that support long-term well-being rather than short-term fixes.
Some of Julia’s favorite areas of practice include women’s health, particularly supporting individuals navigating PMOS and menopause, as well as chronic disease management, including diabetes and cardiovascular health. She enjoys helping clients work on behavior change and find practical approaches that fit their everyday lives.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys strength training, Pilates, spending time with her mini Goldendoodle, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She believes food should be both nourishing and enjoyable, and she loves helping others find that balance for themselves.
