Sarah is a registered dietitian whose compassionate and person-centered approach helps her clients find realistic strategies for nourishment that promote a positive relationship with food. Sarah enjoys bridging the gap between nutrition science and personal and practical habits, while encouraging her clients to embrace their preferred foods and cuisines.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Clemson University, followed by working as a health program specialist with the United States Peace Corps in Moldova. She completed her dietetic internship in Denver, Colorado and, prior to moving into private practice, provided nutrition counseling as part of integrated perinatal health programs in Denver-area hospital systems, working alongside mental health and medical providers to provide holistic care during and after pregnancy.
Sarah’s specialties include fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum, in addition to nutrition for mood and anxiety disorders, disordered eating, body image, ADHD, perimenopause and menopause, as well as PCOS, thyroid disorders, and endometriosis.
Sarah remains committed to inclusive and judgment-free care that empowers individuals to explore supportive nutrition goals. She practices from a weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size, and trauma-informed lens. She treats all individuals with respect and kindness and acknowledges the oppressive systems in place that can be detrimental to an individual’s relationship with food and nutrition, disproportionately impacting those with marginalized identities.
Sarah enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, traveling, and skiing or hiking in the Rocky Mountains near Denver.
