Sarah's Bio

Sarah is a registered dietitian committed to creating a safe, empowering space for clients to make lasting changes. Her passion for nutrition stems from the belief that a positive relationship with food can transform many areas of life. Sarah works through weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, gender-inclusive and non-diet lenses. Her main goal is to help you reconnect with your body and trust your own intuition about nourishment, rather than relying on restrictive food rules or harmful beliefs.

Sarah enjoys collaborating with parents and caregivers to help nourish their loved ones back to health. Her counseling style is warm, empathetic, curious, and non-judgmental, always meeting you where you’re at while maintaining firm boundaries. She brings humor and humanity into every session, creating a real connection with her clients.

As a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Sarah has extensive experience as the Director of Nutrition at an eating disorder treatment center. She has worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care, in addition to her work in private practice. Sarah would be honored to join your treatment team, helping you build a relationship where recovery can flourish or be sustained. Whether you’re focusing on weight restoration, honoring hunger, exploring satisfaction, learning to cook, practicing enjoyable movement, doing exposure therapy, or brushing up on nutrition education, she’s here to support you.

In her downtime, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, pug, and munchkin cat. She loves baking sourdough, practicing latte art, reading thrillers, playing pickleball, and attending concerts. A Midwest native, Sarah is also an Iowa State alum.
