Evie is a registered dietitian who enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and helping them to reshape their view and relationship with food as they move toward long-term goals. Evie uses a client-centered approach to nutrition counseling by meeting clients where they are and she practices through a non-diet lens that includes all foods.
Evie has experience supporting clients who are dealing with eating disorders, OCD behaviors around food, impulsive eating, disordered eating, diet culture myths, weight management and concerns, diabetes, and substance abuse. She believes in setting small, realistic lifestyle goals that help her clients to slowly work toward creating a stronger relationship with food and improving their long-term physical, mental, and emotional health.
Evie attended undergraduate school at Appalachian State University and received her Master’s of Science in Nutrition at Meredith College. She completed her clinical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and lived in Nashville, TN for several years after completing her program. Evie holds the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential, which reflects her commitment to providing quality care in the field of eating disorders.
In her free time, Evie enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, running the greenway, and traveling with family and friends.
