Claire is a registered and licensed dietitian who enjoys working with her clients to cultivate food freedom, body trust, and a more peaceful relationship with eating. Her work is aligned with the Health At Every Size® movement, and she integrates the principles of Intuitive Eating into her sessions to help guide her clients towards a more relaxed, compassionate, and judgment‑free experience with food and their bodies.
She prides herself on providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients to open up about their deeply personal food and body challenges. Claire understands that her clients may come in with multiple co-occurring mental health diagnoses, and she feels confident in helping them see how these can be interconnected, whether it be obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, depression, or another area of medical or mental health. She makes sure to meet her clients where they are in their recovery journey, and together, with her clients, she builds individualized plans to ditch the diet rules and rediscover the joy and satisfaction of eating. Along the way, you’ll see that her approach blends empathy, curiosity, active listening, and a touch of humor to make the work feel both meaningful and manageable.
Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Medical Dietetics from Viterbo University, where she also completed her dietetic internship with a focus on sports nutrition and eating disorders. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Consultant (CEDS‑C) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp), a credential that reflects advanced training, extensive supervised clinical hours, and demonstrated expertise in treating complex eating disorders.
Before joining Healthier Tomorrows, Claire worked at a leading mental health treatment center, providing care across inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels for adolescents and adults. In addition to one‑on‑one nutrition counseling, she has facilitated nutrition education groups, cooking sessions, grocery shopping support, and food‑exposure experiences to help clients build confidence and flexibility.
Outside of her work with clients, Claire finds joy in time spent with her loved ones—especially her husband and son. She cherishes the small, everyday moments of parenthood just as much as the big milestones. Claire loves being outdoors, whether she’s exploring new state parks, playing pickleball, or spending time on the river. She also enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes, catching up with friends over coffee, diving into a good book, and tuning into her favorite podcasts.
