Amanda is a registered dietitian known for her compassionate, client-centered approach and her commitment to helping individuals build a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. She practices from a weight-neutral, non-diet framework, where all foods fit and restrictive rules are replaced with flexibility. Amanda helps clients learn how to nourish their bodies in ways that support feeling their best both physically and emotionally.
She is especially passionate about working with individuals struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating, those seeking freedom from chronic dieting, and anyone wanting guidance on intuitive eating.
Amanda’s approach is rooted in helping clients feel supported and understood as they navigate their relationship with food. She believes nutrition should feel simple, not stressful, and creates a safe space where clients can step away from diet culture and rebuild trust with their bodies at their own pace. By focusing on small, realistic changes, Amanda helps clients create a balanced approach to food that feels manageable. Her guidance is tailored to fit each individual’s life, preferences, and comfort level.
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Keiser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. She has experience working with adolescent and adult clients in inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment settings. She also has extensive experience with one-on-one nutrition counseling, with a focus on helping women improve energy levels, develop healthier relationships with food, and support hormonal health. Amanda blends her clinical knowledge with genuine empathy to help clients feel empowered as they pursue their nutrition goals.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, going for walks in nature, rollerblading, reading, cooking, gluten-free baking, and game nights with friends.
