Deanna's Bio
Deanna is a registered and licensed dietitian who enjoys working with clients impacted by eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease. Deanna believes that food is something that is deeply personal, emotional and cultural, and that our society makes it difficult for people to nourish themselves and enjoy food free from judgment and self-doubt. She is passionate about showing her clients that they can pursue health and healing in the body that they are in right now. She believes that every body holds value and is inherently worthy. She works to cultivate a safe and validating environment for each of her clients.
Deanna received her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Nutrition from California State University, Fresno. She received her MBA and completed her Dietetic Internship at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Before joining Healthier Tomorrows, Deanna worked at the residential level of care, providing assessments and support to adolescents and adults struggling with disordered eating.
In Deanna’s free time she enjoys baking, reading, traveling, meditation and playing with her daughter. She was born and raised in California.
