Ana's Bio
Ana is a registered dietitian nutritionist who works in partnership with her clients to create a non-judgmental environment that fosters change. She believes in helping others redefine their relationship with food and their bodies. Ana’s personal nutrition philosophy is living fully, nourishing our bodies, and finding pleasure in food and movement. She provides weight-neutral nutrition guidance and medical nutrition therapy to help each client achieve their health and wellness goals. Ana has worked extensively with clients struggling with disordered eating, eating disorders, and mood and anxiety disorders. Her other areas of focus include selective eating and food aversions. Ana is skilled in leading food exposures to support clients in expanding the foods they eat.
In her role as Clinical Development Director, Ana designs and leads professional trainings and provides individual and group supervision to other dietitians, including those pursuing the CEDS certification.
Ana received her Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and her Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University. She completed an accredited dietetic internship through Northern Illinois University. Ana holds the Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS-S) certification through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) and is an iaedp approved Supervisor.
In her free time Ana enjoys being outside, traveling, and tending to her ever-growing plant collection.
